To walk in God’s best for our lives, there are three “M’s” that can serve us our guide. First is the Master, we must seek the Lord with all our heart, allowing Him to guide our path and shape our decisions. Second is the Mission, after embracing His Word and commands, we are called to serve Him wholeheartedly and live out the purpose He has given us. As we remain faithful in seeking Him and fulfilling our mission, God, in His perfect time, will provide the third “M,” which is our Mate, the person He has prepared for us. This mate is considered God’s best not simply because of compatibility or feelings, but because that person aligns with God’s will for our life, supports our spiritual growth, and walks with us in fulfilling our purpose.

The same happened to us. We both chose to seek the Lord first. We had our own questions, struggles, and things we were searching for answers that we eventually found in Him. Individually, God worked in our hearts in different ways, allowing us to grow deeper in our relationship with Him. As we continued to know Him more, we also began to serve Him faithfully in our own ministries. At that time, we didn’t know each other personally; we were simply focused on our calling and our walk with God.

In his team, they were asking for a volunteer for a mission at a school. At the same time, God was really touching my heart to volunteer on a campus, so I stepped forward and volunteered. It wasn’t something I planned, it was simply a response to God’s leading. Little did I know that the simple act of obedience was already part of God’s bigger plan.

It was there, in the place of serving, that we met not by coincidence, but by God’s divine appointment. As we served side by side, we began to see not just each other’s strengths, but more importantly, each other’s hearts for God.

From that moment, our connection grew not rooted in emotions alone, but grounded in a shared love for the Lord and a common purpose to serve Him. We realized that before God brought us together, He first prepared us individually. And because of that, what we have is not just a relationship, but a partnership in faith.

In the end, we understood that God’s best is never rushed. When we prioritize the Master and remain faithful in our Mission, He brings the right Mate at the right time someone who will not distract us from our calling, but will walk with us in fulfilling it.
